Accessible Community Spaces

Community spaces are a key area of interest. Are the ones we have currently fit for purpose? Do we need a community space or hub? What are the barriers to spaces that function?

Promotion of creativity

Colwyn Bay already has an active creative scene that we want to bring to the fore. With groups practicing live music, photography, craft, creative writing, dance, comedy, theatre and more, there is so much in Colwyn Bay already on offer.

How can we increase the opportunities for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to have access to the arts and the benefits it can bring?

Communication

There are lots of groups, organisations and individuals doing great work in the Colwyn Bay area, but sometimes this is in isolation. People have suggested there could be better tools for people to communicate and come together, and to find out what’s going on locally.

EVENTS

Events lift spirits, build skills and connections, and celebrate what is unique to our area. How can we use events to address all of our other aims? How can we use events to make where we live even better?

Wellbeing

One of the core principles of T4CB is that the community belongs to everyone, and everyone can contribute to, and benefit from a vibrant, healthy and inclusive Colwyn Bay.

The activities we promote and the work we do will aim to reach out to people of all ages and backgrounds and present opportunities for everyone to be involved and not left behind.

How can we reach out to everyone in the community, and find ways to support their mental and physical health?

Young People

Activities and facilities for young people has been identified as an issue and an opportunity for Colwyn Bay. How can we reach and work with all of the young people in the town? What do they want to see?
